Students of KHS are going to Rastatt, Germany to take part in a mission trip.
Samantha Barker, Ashley Harper, and Clint McFarland along with eleven other church members are traveling to Germany, according to Dr. Brent Gentzel, pastor of First Baptist Church. They seem to be absolutely excited about traveling to Germany.
We will be staying with host homes, Dr. Gentzel said, and we leave on Friday, March 12 and return on Sunday, March 21. He also said that they would be speaking to public schools, help their host church work with the teens there, and be doing some sightseeing as well.
Rastatt is a vibrant city located in South West Germany, bordered by the Rhine and the Black Forest, said Dr. Gentzel. Rastatt is also a large meadowlands area, which is the Rastatt Rheinau Meadowlands.
The Rastatt mission trip is a task of spreading Christianity.
Barker, Harper, McFarland, and their church will be speaking to several young people in Rastatt.
Dr. Gentzel said,
Europe is not aware of the important role Christianity plays in the lives of American teenagers. Very few German teenagers attend church.
